Clash: Artifacts of Chaos Features

Equip Combat Stances

Unlike traditional RPGs, where you equip weapons, in Clash, you use various Battle Stances. You can switch between different stances, such as lightning-fast attacks, slower but more powerful blows, or long-range options, depending on the type of enemy you encounter as you progress through the game.

As you explore further, you'll be able to unlock new stances and upgrade existing ones, allowing you to personalize your fighting style.

Rituals Give Advantages and Challenges

Rituals in Clash occur before a fight and can provide buffs for Pseudo if he wins while posing a challenge if he loses. In this game, both opponents will roll dice and use the items on the board to obtain the highest possible number.

The game's victor will receive a unique ability or buff for the upcoming match. For instance, the opponent may be given a handicap, such as losing HP if they remain stationary, or you might gain an extra ally to assist you in the match.

However, it's important to note that winning or losing the ritual does not necessarily guarantee victory or defeat in the upcoming match. The Ritual merely provides an additional boost or challenge.

Switch Between Forms and Conquer Your Foes

In Clash, Pseudo can set up camp and use a tent to sleep and pass time. During the night, Pseudo's dreams cause him to transform into a wooden alter ego, and the enemies become more aggressive and challenging to overcome.

Switching between these two forms is crucial to fully explore the game's various challenges. If Pseudo is defeated during the daytime, you'll be granted another opportunity by respawning at the last location where you set up camp during the night.

If you manage to return to Pseudo's physical body by overcoming the night-time enemies that obstruct your path, you'll have the chance to revive Pseudo and rescue The Boy on time.
