Diablo IV Features

Character Customization and Classes

Barbarian, Sorcerer, Druid, Necromancer, and Rogue are the five classes available. The players can select any of these classes and build their heroes using a range of cosmetics.

Gamers can alter their characters to give them unique personalities and claim them as their own.

Players can become one with the role in an RPG if they recognize themselves in it. They can change their play style thanks to the large variety of skin tones, eye colors, outfits, and hairstyles.

Open World Exploration

Image
In contrast to earlier Diablo games, Diablo IV has an entirely open world. Diablo IV's world is yours to explore however you like. Players are not required to take a particular linear path. Throughout the game, there are almost 150 dungeons that you can explore for riches and experience points.

After killing the demons, you can seize enemy strongholds, which you can use to build towns or additional dungeons, depending on which forts you obtain.

Also, local events will emerge, and you can decide whether you wish to participate in them. You can do countless things in Diablo IV, and there is always something new to explore and enjoy.

Co-op, Cross-play and PVP Multiplayer

Diablo IV supports cross-play and cooperative play. There are World Bosses where it is necessary to have many players fight specific bosses and practice teamwork to defeat more powerful creatures. You can play with a friend on a different platform.

In the game, there are also PVP zones where you can engage in combat with other players. As you excel at the game, other players can challenge you because the game will mark you as a champion.

Diablo IV is Not Pay-To-Win (P2W)

According to the Diablo IV Quarterly Update, the design of Seasons require the players that all sources of character power come from playing the game, so you cannot acquire power through monetary means. The in-game purchases that can be made will be for cosmetics and the optional Battle Pass support, and enhanced Seasons.

Free-To-Play players can enjoy the game without feeling they are not getting an entire game without paying. They can focus on increasing their power through playing, collecting loot, and leveling up.

Is Diablo IV Worth Buying?

Buy If You Want to See Diablo Return to Form

Let's address the elephant in the room: Diablo Immortal was a very polarizing game due to it heavily encouraging play to win features. Diablo IV seems to take a step back from all of that (although things may change after release, we'll see). Diablo IV separates itself from these pay to win practices and we can fully recommend buying the game.

After all, the open world of Diablo IV looks engrossing, sinister, and full of adventure. The gameplay also looks very promising this time around with features like character customization, PVP, co-op, crossplay multiplayer, seizing strongholds, local events, and an open world.

If Diablo Immortal put you off of the franchise, Diablo IV may be the game that gets you back into it. We'll see how things turn out after release, but at the time of writing this article, we think it's worth trying out.
