Dialogue Options Affect the Story
As was might be expected of Telltale games, The Expanse features their trademark of dialogue options affecting the outcome of the story. In The Expanse: A Telltale Series you will play as Camina Drummer, and you will be faced with deciding how she will interact with other characters.
Choices will be challenging as Drummer has to deal with a corrupt solar system, a crew that is not particularly fond of her, and her own responsibilities to the people she cares about. Navigate these choices and try to minimize the negative consequences. Or maximize them, whichever you find to be more entertaining.
Quick Time Event Gameplay
Like most Telltale games, The Expanse has limited control over the game character over the cutscenes. This type of gameplay puts more of an emphasis on the choice-driven gameplay, as even the action scenes come down to making quick choices.
Zero Gravity Exploration
This game also has some interesting inventions that allow for space travel. Mag Boots let allow space travelers to traverse walls and ceilings, and Zero-G thrusters allow Drummer to explore more open areas. Use these exploration tools to your advantage as you make your way through the story.
