Nintendo UK is currently holding a treasure hunt minigame of sorts on their official website. Interested participants can head to Nintendo UK’s page for Super Mario RPG. There, they must look for a treasure chest somewhere on the website. Finding and interacting with it will reward the participant with a set of wallpapers for PC and mobile, as well as 50 platinum points for your troubles.
Unfortunately, only those with a Nintendo UK account can participate. Otherwise, you will be met with a disheartening message informing you that you’re not eligible to win the freebies. So, if you're interested, you'll have to register for a UK account.
The wallpapers come in two sets. For the PC, it features all five of the game's main characters on one screen, while the mobile wallpapers separate them into individual images.
It's worth noting that these images' URLs have an expiration number. That may mean you'll only be able to get them from Nintendo for a limited time.
