Pokémon meets the great outdoors in Pokémon Wonder,
a special event that will take place on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from September 23 to November 19, 2023. The Pokemon Company invites both children and adults to experience the wonder of the wilderness. Get ready to go on an exciting journey into the heart of nature. The ultimate Pokémon hunt will take place at Yomiuri Land in Tokyo, as participants journey through a beautiful 4,500 m² forest that’s been uninhabited for almost 20 years, steeping in the splendor of the natural world.
Unleash Your Inner Pokémon Researcher
You'll have a never-before-seen outdoor adventure at Pokémon Wonder,
where the lines between the natural and Pokémon worlds are blurred. Forget about CGI, animation, or plush toys, you’ll find Pokémon in their natural environment here. Every aspect, from plants to sunshine, is designed to blend in with nature, allowing Pokémon to come to life in unprecedented ways.
The setting for this extraordinary excursion is a vast forest overflowing with varied scenery, ranging from peaceful grasslands to stunning bamboo groves. As a participant, you'll take on the role of a Pokémon researcher, working as part of Dr. Cresso's survey team. You'll travel into the forest, armed with research notes, searching for Pokémon concealed among the grass, water, and soil. Every step promises a brand-new, thrilling discovery, with more than 50 different Pokémon hidden throughout two other courses.
A Truly Immersive Experience
In Pokémon Wonder,
groups of up to six players can enter the alluring environment together. You'll start your search for Pokémon and begin to understand the mysteries of nature over about 90 minutes. Except for the first region, which may be explored by a single group, each course presents a distinct challenge.
Beyond the thrill of the search, Pokémon Wonder
seeks to cultivate in players a profound sense of wonder
—a sharpened sensitivity to the wonders and enigmas of the natural world. This wilderness journey looks to be an enthralling fusion of Pokémon power and the splendor of the untamed outdoors.
Reserve Your Spot Starting This Week
Mark your calendars for Friday, September 8, at 12:30 p.m. JST(September 7, at 8:30 p.m. PST), when reservations for Pokémon Wonder
will be available. Don't pass up this one-of-a-kind chance to interact with Pokémon in their natural environment and set off on an incredible exploration voyage through Yomiuriland's gorgeous landscapes. Explore the mysteries of the wild and create priceless Pokémon memories.
Reservations are made available once again in November. Pokémon WONDER will start accepting reservations from 12:30noon on Friday, November 10th. Reservation on specific dates between between November 23, 2023 to January 8, 2024.
Reservations can be applied for the following dates according to Pokémon WONDER's website:
● November 2023 - 23rd, 25th, 26th
● December 2023 - 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 28th-30th
● January 2024 - 6th-8th
