Code Vein 2 Overview
Code Vein 2 is the sequel to 2019's Code Vein, where players will embark on a journey through two different eras. The future where humanity and Revenants struggle with the planet that's on its last legs, a catastrophe away from completely collapsing. The threat known as the Luna Rapacis makes its appearance, turning Revenants into terrifying creatures called Horrors.
Players step into the role of a Revenant Hunter, tasked to jump back into the past with a time-traveller named Lou in order to rewrite fate.
Code Vein 2 will be available on January 30, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Code Vein 2 Gameplay
As an action RPG, its gameplay highlight lies in its high-octane and satisfying combat, where mastering the enemies' movements as well as one's own skills are the key to survival. Players can now also use blood drained from enemies to unlock more skills, and customize their weapons and abilities for a personalized battle style.
The game also adds an Assimilation feature with Partners, allowing players to merge with allies to enhance their combat capabilities. Finally, Code Vein 2 features a time travel mechanic, and as the player goes back in time to change the future, it may affect their relationships with characters while actively shaping the story.
