Dragon Age: The Veilguard will star a new hero created by the player, wherein they will lead the charge to defy the gods together. The gods, the corrupt gods, have been unshackled from their centuries of darkened imprisonment, seeking to bring ruin to the land of Thedas, and can only be felled by a full team of trustworthy companions.
Assemble a team comprised of seven people, each with their certain areas of expertise, and with a rich and complicated history. They will be your allies, and even your lovers,until the end of your grand quest. These are:

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Gameplay
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is an action RPG that traditionally gives players the power to create a character fully from the ground up. They will be able to customize their class, lineage, gender, overall appearance, and several unannounced features! Afterwards, you will get to choose between three combat classes: Warrior, Mage, or Rogue, where each class will have different skills and abilities as they gain experience and grow stronger.
Veilguard’s combat will be modern and action-oriented, where players will be able to freely swap between their weapons during the midst of combat, be it melee or ranged. Perform special moves in accordance to your class level, and decimate your foes in the battlefield! Fear not, as you won’t be alone, as your trusted companions will offer support alongside you throughout all beatles.

The official gameplay trailer stars a custom rogue character to showcase the town exploration and quest completion. The protagonist is guided to find Neve, when things go wrong and they must survive the onslaught of invading demons that are flame-engulfed, floating, or just downright huge and terrifying.

The official reveal trailer is the rebranding of the game from Dreadwolf to The Veilguard, wherein it showcases the various companions the protagonist will be able to befriend and battle together in their quest.
