Street Fighter 6 Game Modes Available
World Tour Mode
Customize your very own avatar to become a master fighter! In World Tour Mode, join the Buckler Security Training Course with Luke as your mentor and meet your rival Bosh and other unique characters to gain experiences that will leave you wanting more. With a simple press of a button, you can fight with anyone and show off your skills to the world.
Street Fighter 6 offers the classic 6-button play style and a modern 4-button control type, making it perfect for new and experienced players. As you win battles, your avatar gains experience points and levels up, improving your stats like vitality and making you even more powerful.
But Street Fighter 6 isn't just about fighting - it's about exploring too. Discover new eateries to restore your vitality and uncover new missions and objectives as you explore the city. And if you're feeling adventurous, become a student of a legendary fighter and unlock special missions and new stories while building a bond with your master.
But that's not all - with purchasable gear that looks great and affects your stats and characteristics, you can create a unique avatar that suits your fighting style. And with flight tickets to travel from Metro City to other locations on the world map, you can learn all the fighting styles and moves from legendary fighters around the globe.
Battle Hub Mode
Gaming enthusiasts from all over the globe can come together and enjoy a range of games and recreational activities. You can indulge in classic editions of Street Fighter available in their arcade section.
In addition to that, you can showcase your unique character in Avatar battles. A new Fighters Clubattribute has also been integrated into Capcom Fighters Network. You can create your own club with your friends from scratch.
Additional Modes
The Fighting Ground game mode has been updated to include more realistic features such as bruises and dirty clothes on players to help them better understand the situation of their fights. Sound effects have also been added to indicate the proximity of opponents and gauge levels. Additionally, a tutorial has been added to explain the basics of the game and combat system.
Beginners can now use Offline control or AI Assistance to familiarize themselves with a new character or fighting style.
In Arcade mode, players can play single-player against the computer, go through each character's story, and unlock a unique illustration after the ending. In this mode, players also can compete for worldwide online ranking.
Players can refer to the character guide to learn how to use a specific character and their combos.
In Versus Mode, players can compete in single-elimination or double-style battles and choose their favorite commentator. Extreme Battle offers special rules and objectives and is available offline or in Battle hub modes. Players can create custom rooms to play with a group of players online, with the option to set the cabinets into One-on-one, Extreme mode, or Training mode.
Street Fighter 6 retains the modes in previous Street Fighter games. Ranked Match allows players worldwide to compete against each other and earn rank points, while Casual Match will enable players to compete without losing lead points.
Street Fighter 6 Demo Trailer
Street Fighter 6 releases a game demo where players can customize their avatars and play the first few parts of the story in World Tour Mode.
For Fighting Ground, players can access One-on-One, Extreme Battle, Tutorial, and Character guides with Luke and Ryu as the playable characters and Genbu Temple and Training Room as playable stages. The available commentators will be Aru and Vicious.
The save file of your avatar can also be carried through the main game as long as it is on the same platform. The demo does not have online features available.
You can get the demo here for PlayStation 4 and 5. The demo for Xbox and Steam will be available on April 26, 2023.
