New Features In Tears Of The Kingdom
Sky Islands Exploration
The Sky Islands are a new area for players to explore in Tears of the Kingdom. This landmass is located high in the sky and presents an entirely different environment from the main game world. To reach the Sky Islands, players will need to use a variety of new skills and abilities, including the Recall and the Ultrahand.
Recall Skill
One of the most useful new skills in Tears of the Kingdom is the Recall skill. This skill allows players to rewind an object's movements, making it possible to travel back in time and explore different paths. This is particularly useful for reaching the Sky Islands, as players can use the Recall skill to rewind the movements of a floating island and jump on at the right moment.
Fuse Skill
The Fuse skill is another new ability in Tears of the Kingdom. This skill allows players to stick objects together to create new weapons, gadgets, and utilities. For example, players can fuse a Keese eyeball to their arrows to create a homing device that makes it easier to track a target. With the Fuse skill, players can also create vehicles and modes of transportation, making it easier to explore the Sky Islands.
Ultrahand Ability
Link has an ability called the Ultrahand, which allows him to fuse together certain materials to create different vehicles and modes of transportation. This is especially useful when exploring the Sky Islands, as it can be challenging to traverse these areas without a means of transportation.
Using the Ultrahand, Link can combine different materials to create vehicles that he can use to fly or move around more quickly. Depending on Link's needs, the fused materials can be unfused, allowing him to switch between different vehicles as necessary.
Ascend Ability
Link also can ascend through ceilings using the Ascend ability. This allows him to explore enclosed spaces more efficiently, as he can pass through ceilings. This can be especially useful when navigating through dungeons or other areas with multiple floors or levels.
