The same as its predecessors, you get to perform striking, grappling, running, and aerial moves. And with rewards waiting to be unlocked, including classic looks for arenas and past versions of WWE Superstars, there’s never a dull moment.

One of the standout features of WWE 2K24 is its Showcase Mode, which serves as a time machine transporting players through 40 years of WrestleMania history. Compared to every visual aspect WWE 2K24 showcases, these stiff and awkward facial expressions are much of a shame. They take away from the impact and authenticity of the moment being played out, because everything else is all real to me, dammit!
Really Wack Superstar Ratings
A former World Champion has a below-70 overall rating!? Really preposterous. I don’t know how they came up with the ratings, but, dear God, they couldn’t be any further from reality. The Phenomenal One isn’t even in the lower-90s overall rating! I rest my case.

As is tradition of the 2K wrestling games, WWE 2K24 will have a career mode called MyRISE where you can create your own wrestler and participate in an original storyline as you rise through the ranks of the WWE roster to achieve superstardom.
WWE 2K24 celebrates the momentous 40th anniversary of Wrestlemania, the biggest pro-wrestling show in the world, through "2K Showcase of the Immortals," a series of the 21 handpicked Wrestlemania matches you can play to relive the events’ most unforgettable stories and historical career-defining moments.
Most notably, the wrestler on the cover, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, has had a long-running narrative of never being able to "Finish the Story" of winning the WWE Heavyweight Championship for his late father, Dusty Rhodes. As he graces the cover of this year’s edition of WWE 2K, many will be looking to play as Rhodes in the game and "Finish the Story" for him.

Is Brock Lesnar in WWE 2K24?
For the most part, Brock Lesnar's presence in the game has been diminished, muted, almost DELETED. Brock Lesnar, being implicated in the lawsuit leveled against WWE and its co-founder, would appear in the game's MyRise and Showcase modes. However, he will not be playable outside of those modes.
Does WWE 2K24 Come With DLC?
WWE 2K24 will have five post-launch DLC packs featuring more than 20 additional Superstars, plus pop-culture icons like Pat McAfee and Post Malone. DLC 1: ECW Punk Pack releases May 15, 2024, followed by DLC 2: Post Malone & Friends Pack on June 26, DLC 3: Pat McAfee Pack on July 24, DLC 4: Global Superstars Pack on September 20, and DLC 5: WCW Pack expected to arrive in November 13.
