Enshrouded Story Plot
Enshrouded's story plot revolves around you, a Flameborn, and your journey through the ruined lands of Embervale. Countless dangers await you in the Shroud, warped and mutated beyond recognition. You must assure your survival as you journey through the pestilence-ridden wilderness by crafting, gathering, and building implements to fend off the nightmare.
Enshrouded Gameplay
Enshrouded's gameplay has been described as "Minecraft meets Breath of the Wild" as its voxel-based world is completely yours to dig up, craft, repurpose, and rebuild. It also boasts crafting and survival elements that can give even the best players a run for their rupees. Together, these elements create a gritty – yet somewhat fantastical – experience that will have you on edge at all times.
Gritty Exploration and Survival in The Shroud
You start with nothing but the will to survive and the remnants of a fallen kingdom around you. Survival is your only goal and you will have to fight tooth and nail for every scrap you can find. Make do with what you have for now and, in time, you'll thrive even in the ashes of Embervale.
Heart Pounding Combat
The Shroud twists and corrupts all living things it encounters and, unfortunately for you, these things are out to get you. Once you survive the elements, you'll have to survive the various factions, creatures, and bosses out to get you in Embervale. Duck, parry, and survive your foes with tremendous fighting skills and powerful spells. Fight for your life at every turn, or die trying.
Epic Builds and Gear Crafting
To fight and survive, one must first create. Embervale is rife with resources and you are just the person to turn them into your tools of survival. Past the basic need for survival, you can create mastercraft items and armor to better brave the world around you.
And what's a crafter without a workshop? Build, destroy, and design your epic builds to shelter you from the elements. Establish your claim on this fallen kingdom by building massive keeps to stave off other factions. Will your towers stand tall, or will they join the ruins of your ancestors?
Multiplayer Madness in Embervale
You needn't fight and survive alone. Create a lobby of up to 16 players to brave the unknown of The Shroud. Relive your old Minecraft days by creating epic structures and fighting pitched battles alongside your greatest companions.
