Monster Hunter Wilds, the wildly anticipated new entry to the Monster Hunter Franchise, has been announced in The Game Awards. Read on to learn when it will be released, and which platforms it will be available in.

Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Wilds at the Game Awards. It is slated to release on 2025, and will be coming to Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC(Steam).

Ryozo Tsujimoto, the series producer for the Monster Hunter franchise, took to the stage of The Game Awards after the reveal, and promised that more information will be shared in the summer of 2024.

Geoff Keighly, host of The Game Awards, was noted to have been privy to the game’s existence since September 2023.

In a separate video uploaded to the official Playstation Youtube channel, Tsujimoto says he is proud to have announced the new entry, Monster Hunter Wilds in The Game Awards. He thanks everyone for sharing their reactions, and is excited to share new information that he can’t reveal just yet.

He shares that the game will feature “a new level of detailed creatures and ecosystems,” and challenges fans to investigate and dissect the reveal trailer for more information. “The combination of cutting-edge hardware in the latest Monster Hunter title will be unmissable!”

He thanks all fans of the series worldwide for allowing Monster Hunter to grow to what it is today, and to keep enjoying Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise while waiting for more information.

Monster Hunter World is currently on sale for only $9.99 on all digital storefronts. Its expansion, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, is also on sale for only $14.99. The game’s Master Edition is also at a lucrative price of only $19.99.
