How to Save in Scarlet Nexus
You Can Save Manually

Although the game automatically saves your progress, you have the option of saving your game manually by talking to a recorder near where you find the save icon on your map or mini-map. Through it, you will gain access to over 30 save slots you can make use of to track your progress.
The Game Automatically Saves
On top of manual saving, Scarlet Nexus saves your game automatically as you progress through the storyline, or when moving to a different location.
This is a convenient tool to have, particularly in areas where there are plenty of Others you'll have to fight through or when you come across other variations of enemies that are a challenge to defeat.
