About Penguin Tour | Mario Kart Tour

Penguin Tour

December 14 - 10:00 PM (PT) to December 28 - 9:59 PM (PT)

The Holiday Tour 2021 just came to an end, and it's now time for the new tour — Penguin Tour! Collect Grand Stars as much as you can to obtain the rewards on this tour. It will be available until December 28, which is enough time for you to grind and get those Grand Stars!

Tokens Aplenty

There will be a Tokens Aplenty event in the Penguin Tour as well. You will have a chance to get a maximum of 300 Event Tokens after finishing the course with the bonus, even if you are in the last place of the race. It will become available every Tuesday, giving you two chances of obtaining them throughout the tour!

Weekly Ranked Cup

Light-blue Toad (Pit Crew) is now a reward for placing high on the Ranked Cup throughout the duration of the Penguin Tour. Upgrade your Favorite Drivers now and outscore everyone to get him!

All-Clear Gold Pipe

You can fire off a Gold Pipe after clearing all the courses, including bonus challenges, in the Penguin Tour. Gold Pipe gives a guaranteed High-End Driver, Kart, or Glider.

The primary Tour Gifts for everyone are Morton, Landship, and Parafoil. Gold Pass subscribers will receive additional Tour Gifts such as Dry Bones, Gold Snow Skimmer, and Gold Penguin Wingtip. Don't hold back on getting those Grand Stars to receive these Tour Gifts!

Tour Spotlight Characters

1st Half Characters

Penguin Toadette and Penguin Toad will become Favored (with 2 item slots) or a Favorite (with 3 item slots) drivers on the second course of every cup throughout the Penguin Tour. Get them to increase your score in the tour, especially on the weekly Ranked Cup!

2nd Half Characters

Penguin Luigi and Penguin Mario will become Favored (with 2 item slots) or a Favorite (with 3 item slots) drivers on the third course of every cup throughout the Penguin Tour. Get them to increase your score in the tour, especially on the weekly Ranked Cup!
