What is the Holiday Challenges?

Holiday Challenges 1 is a set of challenges that is a part of the Holiday Celebration. You can finish all of its missions by participating in multiplayer. It will be available throughout three consecutive tours, starting with the Holiday Tour 2021 and will end after the New Year's 2022 Tour!

You will receive Rubies as rewards for completing each mission. You can get White Yoshi as well when you clear all of them.

Availability: 11/30/21 - 10:00 PM (PT) ~ 01/11/21 - 9:59 PM (PT)

Participate in a race Rubies x1
Join a multiplayer race Rubies x1
Join 10 multiplayer races Rubies x1
Join 20 multiplayer races Rubies x2
Get 3rd place or higher 10 times in a multiplayer race Rubies x2
Reach grade E in multiplayer Rubies x2
Join 40 multiplayer races Rubies x3
Get 3rd place or higher 20 times in multiplayer races Rubies x4
Reach grade D in multiplayer Rubies x5

Tips for Clearing Holiday Challenges

Participate in a race

You can clear this challenge by going in any race, be it multiplayer or by going on a course in the Cups. Doing the Today's Challenge will also count as participating in the race, so if you haven't done it yet, this is the best time to do so!

Join Multiplayer Races

You can complete this challenge as long as you participate in standard or gold races. You can invite your friends or you can join them as they race and complete these challenges together!

Reach E and D Grades

You can increase your rank and get to E and D grades by winning on Multiplayer Races. Use drivers with 3 item slots on the courses to have the advantage over your opponents, and use your items wisely so you can protect your lead and win races.

Get 3rd place or higher in multiplayer races

First Place - Mario Kart Tour.jpg
Complete these challenges by getting 3rd place or higher in the races. You can easily win in a race if you use a course you're very familiar with, using a driver that is favors that course. You should also take the shortcuts as much as you can to get in the lead!
