Raising Your Score at RMX Rainbow Road 1R/T

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start. You can get the highest bonus score possible if done correctly. It will also help you take an early lead in the race.

Drifting

This course has a wide racing track. Take that opportunity to perform Mini or Super Mini-Turbo Boost to speed up and maximize your score.

Using an Item

Use your items wisely. Hitting an opponent with an item will gain you points and at the same time gives you the chance to take the lead. But do not forget to save at least 1 item when you are ahead of your opponents to block their attacks.

Ramps and Platforms

Make sure to access the ramps and platforms to perform jump boosts and maximize your combo points. These would be of great help in increasing your score.

Gliding Area

You will reach the only gliding area near the finish line. Use that to start a long combo, but be sure to evade the Giant Piranha Plant in the middle, or you'll lose your combo. The Giant Piranha Plant rotates promptly, so be sure to watch out for it, as you might get bitten!
