Raising Your Score at New York Minute 3

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start. You can get the highest bonus score possible if done correctly. It will also help you take an early lead in the race.

Drifting

There are no obstacles in this course, which makes it easier to perform turbo boosts. Take that opportunity to perform Mini or Super Mini-Turbo Boost to speed up and maximize your score.

Combo Area

Start racking up some points by doing combos inside the tunnel. There are multiple ramps inside, which makes it easier to perform combos!

Water Current

Perform a Jump Boost by passing through the water current, to get a slight speed boost and score. You can find it right before the finish line.
