In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.
Starting with a Rocket Start will give you the advantage to take an early lead in the race. You can also get the highest bonus score possible if done correctly.
Performing Mini-Turbos will give you the needed speed and extend your combo as well. Drift along curved areas to take advantage of your opponents and increase your score.
Access this shortcut only on the 2nd lap and if you have a Mushroom item to help you speed up. Otherwise, it will only slow you down.
The road humps are all over the course. Make sure to take that opportunity to do Jump Boosts and trigger a combo. Don't forget to pick up the Coins as these will also add to the combo you are making. You can also use these coins to buy driver, karts, gliders, and other things in the Shop.
Be careful as there are Piranha Plants in this course. Avoid them or your kart will crash, causing you to slow down. You can also take out these Piranha Plants by hitting them with any item (except coins and bananas) and grant you points.
We do not recommend using this shortcut as you will miss the humps on the road. Access this shortcut only if you are not in the lead and if you have a Mushroom with you.
Make sure to hit your opponents when throwing your items forward or backward. Hitting an opponent will grant you points and slow them down at the same time. This will give you the advantage to get ahead of them and take the lead. Do not forget to save at least one item to defend yourself from getting hit.
The best combinations of drivers, karts, and gliders are in the table below. They can give you the highest combo bonus and the highest possible score in this course.

Note: You can shuffle these drivers, karts, or gliders if you do not have the others yet. For example, you can select Monty Mole, Birthday Girl Daisy, and Plaid Ribbon as your driver, kart, and glider combination.
