Raising Your Score at RMX Choco Island 1T

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start! Rocket start plays an important role in every race as this will give you a short boost. You can also get the highest bonus score possible if you release your finger at the timing.

Ramps, Road Humps, and Platforms

There are ramps, road humps, and platforms all over the course. Make sure to take that opportunity to create a long combo count to increase your score.

Drifting

Do Mini-Turbo boosts on curved areas. Mini-Turbos will help you gain speed and extend the combo you are making.

Coins

Try to pick up the coins on the road as much as possible. These coins are very useful as it can also extend your combos. You can also use these coins to buy drivers, karts, gliders, and other things in the Shop.

Curved Platform

Make sure you have created a combo count before entering the long curved platform. This is to further extend the combo you are making. Higher combo count means a higher score.

Using Items

Make sure to hit your opponents when throwing your items forward or backward. Hitting an opponent will grant you points and slow them down at the same time. This will give you the advantage to get ahead of them and take the lead.
