Raising Your Score at Bowser's Castle 2

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Starting with a Rocket Start will give you the advantage to take an early lead in the race. You can also get the highest bonus score possible if done correctly.

Drifting

Perform the Mini-Turbo boost and stay close on the edges. This will give you the chance to steal the lead from your opponents.

Obstacles

Be careful! There are Barrel Bombs and Thwomps in this course. You will slow down and crash once you hit or bump into one of these obstacles.

Dash Panels

There are dash panels all over the course. We recommend using a High-End Kart that has a Dash Panel Plus skill to further increase your score. Make sure to over these dash panels as it will also give you a short boost.

Using of Items

Do not forget that you can throw your items forward or backward to your opponents. Hitting an opponent will also give you certain points and can also give you the chance to get ahead of them. Just remember to save at least one item at your back (like bananas or green shells) to block your opponents' attack from behind.
