Raising Your Score at Donut Plains 1T

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Starting with a Rocket Start will give you the advantage to take an early lead in the race. You can also get the highest bonus score possible if done correctly.

Ramps, Road Humps, and Platforms

There are enough ramps, road humps, and platforms on T courses. So creating a long combo will be easy. Just make sure to access all the road humps and ramps to maximize the combo you can make. Higher combo count means higher score!

Drifting

Do a Mini-Turbo boost while going over road humps. This will add to your combo count and raise your score as well. Mini-Turbos gives you an acceleration so you can get ahead of your opponents.

Curved Platform

Be careful when driving over the curved platform. You might fall on the edges which may cause not to access all the available ramps. This will also put you in a bad position in the race.

Using of Items

Do not forget that you can throw your items forward or backward to your opponents. Hitting an opponent will also give you certain points and can also give you the chance to get ahead of them. Just remember to save at least one item at your back (like bananas or green shells) to block your opponents' attack from behind.
