Raising Your Score at Toad Circuit R/T

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start. You will get the highest bonus score when you perform the Rocket Start correctly. Rocket Start will also give you an early lead in the race.

T Course

There are additional ramps, platforms, dash panels, and coins all over the course. You can perform a long combo starting from the gliding area up to the bumpers area. Collect coins, drift, and access all ramps and dash panels to make your combo longer.

Drifting

You can perform ultra mini-turbo boosts in this course, for it has long curves and wide road. Do ultra mini-turbo boosts to greatly increase the score you can get in this course.

Shortcut

We do not recommend using the shortcut in this course. It will be harder for you to add more to your combo once you access the shortcut. Only use the shortcut when you are in a lower position in a race or when you have at least 1 mushroom in your item slot to maximize the score you can get.

Goomba

Goombas spawn under the bridge. Take them out if you have an item to gain more points. You need to either take them out to gain more score or avoid them to pass through the bridge without slowing down.
