In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.
Always start with a Rocket Start. You will get the highest bonus score when you perform the Rocket Start correctly. Rocket Start will also give you an early lead in the race.
Tokyo Blur 2R/T is also considered as a T course. It has ramps and road humps all over the course. Coins have also increased, so make sure to get the highest combo and earn the highest possible score in the race.
Always do mini-turbo boosts to earn more points. Mini-turbo boosts do not give a high score when performing it but it is great for keeping your combo streak going.
There are thwomps in this course. You can hit them with items to get scores. Be extra careful around them as they can slow you down.
You can glide in this course right before the finish line. You'll get a better score if you have continued your combo streak from the start of the race up to the gliding area.
At the start of the race, there is already a shortcut that you can access. You can use a mushroom to pass through the shortcut smoother.
