Raising Your Score at Mario Circuit 1R/T

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start. You can get the highest bonus score possible if done correctly. It will also help you take an early lead in the race.

1st Gliding Area

Be careful when driving through the curved platform. You might fall on the edges, causing you not to access the gliding area. Make sure to access the gliding area for more combos and points.

Extend Glide Time

Make sure to glide over the air currents coming from the pipes to extend your glide time. More glide time means a higher combo and score. This will also give you an advantage from other racers.

Obstacles

You will only encounter obstacles when you did not manage to access the gliding area. There are pipes and spilled oils on the road. Avoid them as you might slow down and get left behind from other racers.

2nd Gliding Area

Access the 2nd gliding area for a smoother way of getting into the finish line and to avoid obstacles on the road. Pipes and spilled oils might get into your way of reaching the 1st place in the race.
