Raising Your Score at Mario Circuit 3R

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start. You will get the highest bonus score when you perform the Rocket Start correctly. Rocket Start will also give you an early lead in the race.

Dash Panel

There is a dash panel located at the start of the race. Pass through the dash panel after the rocket start for a better position in the early game.

Obstacles

There are two obstacles in this course that can slow you down: pipes and spilled oils. Although the pipes are not much of a threat, spilled oils can still slow you down. Obstacles does not matter if you are in the Frenzy mode, for you will be invulnerable to anything.

Mini-Turbo Boosts

Mario Circuit 3R is a reverse course of Mario Circuit 3. The race track of this course is wide so make sure to use mini-turbo boosts as much as you can to get a better score.

Shortcut

The shortcut in this course is the same in Mario Circuit 1. Be sure to have at least 1 mushroom to easily access the shortcut and reduce the distance you travel per lap.
