In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.
Always start with a Rocket Start. You will get the highest bonus score when you perform the Rocket Start correctly. Rocket Start will also give you an early lead in the race.
There are tons of platforms and ramps in this course. Use them to get more points. Do not drift or use a mushroom once you access the platforms (especially the curved ones), or you will fall off the edge and will not be able to pass through all the ramps.
T courses (like this course) are basically combo area courses. Use mini-turbo boosts before your combo breaks to get a higher score.
There is a dash panel located before the finish line. Use it to steal or secure your lead. Going through a dash panel will also earn you points.
The gliding area in this course is a shortcut. Use it to get coins at the top and get a better position in the race.
If you missed your chance to go to the gliding area, you can use the shortcut on the ground to catch up or extend your lead against your opponents.
