Turning off the Auto-item will help you save the item you need to take out the piranha plants. Make sure that this option is turned off to take them out easily!
You can aim at the piranha plants easier by turning off the Manual Drift in the settings. It will also show an arrow, which will serve as your pointer, showing where the item will go.
Before starting the race, make sure to change the speed to 50cc. 50cc speed will give you more time to aim for the piranha plants, and it will also make the opponents less agressive.
How to Change Cc
|Description||The loudness of this horn will blow away any surrounding items and karts. It can repel Bloopers, and even Spiny Shells!|
Super Horn is one of the best items you can use to take out piranha plants in a course. It has a large hit area that can clear out multiple piranha plants at once.
|Description||This will walk towards opponents who get too close, and then explode when it touches a kart or when some time has passed. Karts caught in its blast will crash.|
Another good item you can use are Bob-ombs. It has a large area-of-effect and can take out several piranha plants if used correctly.
|Description||Increases your kart's size, allowing you to crash any opponents you hit. You'll return to regular size after some time or when you're hit by an item.|
You can also use Mega Mushrooms and bump into the piranha plants to take them out. However, you'll have to turn-off the Smart Steering option in the settings screen as the piranha plants are mostly off the track.
