Raising Your Score at Mario Circuit 2

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important.

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Rocket Start (Mario Circuit 2).png
Always start with a Rocket Start. This will help you take an early lead in the race. If done correctly, it will give you the highest bonus score possible.

Ultra Mini-Turbo Boost (Mario Circuit 2).png
It is possible to perform an Ultra Mini-Turbo Boost as this course has a wide raising track. This gives you higher points than performing a Mini or Super Mini-Turbo Boost.

Spilled Oil (Mario Circuit 2).png
There are only 2 obstacles in this course. The pipes and spilled oils. You do not have to worry about bumping the pipes for it will only slow you down a bit. Just make sure to avoid spilled oils as it will cause you to crash when you drive into them.

Shortcut 1

Shortcut 1 (Mario Circuit 2).png
We suggest accessing this shortcut only if you are in a 4th place or below to catch up with other racers. Getting the item boxes would be better as these will be your weapon against your opponents.

Using of Items

Hit with an Item (Mario Circuit 2R).jpg
Use your items to take advantage and slow down your opponents. Hitting an opponent with an item also gives you extra points. Do not forget to save at least 1 item (except mushroom) to block your opponent's attack.

Shortcut 2

Shortcut 2 (Mario Circuit 2).png
You will access a gliding area before the finish line. Gliding on the left will give you a faster way to get into the finish line. Do not worry, landing on the yellow hump above will give you an additional jump boost and extend your glide time.

I always use Toadette in this course because her skill triple mushroom will help me access the shortcuts.

Oh, It's a lucky 7 pipe. When I saw it, I thought it was 4 random drivers. I might pull, Hopefully I get Nabbit, Chef Mario or Luigi (Classic)
