Raising Your Score at SNES Rainbow Road T

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start. You can get the highest bonus score possible if done correctly. It will also help you take an early lead in the race.

Ramps

This is a T course so ramps are provided all over the course. Access these ramps to perform jump boosts and create a long combo to increase your score.

Waving Road

There are no Star Thowmps in this course so you can easily go to either side of the waving road to do jump boosts. Take this opportunity to make an unbreakable combo and get a high score.

Drifting

This course has a wide racing track. You can perform a Mini or Super Mini-Turbo Boost to gain speed and at the same time extend your combo.

Shortcut 1

Access this ramp located on the left corner to perform jump boost and take advantage of your opponents. Be careful for you might fall if you did not manage to land on the road.

Shortcut 2

This ramp will be located on the right corner after the waving road. Use this ramp to steal the lead from your opponents and perform another jump boost.
