Raising Your Score at Choco Island 2T

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start. You can get the highest bonus score possible if done correctly. It will also help you take an early lead in the race.

Drifting

Do a Mini-Turbo Boost as long as there is a curved area. This will help you speed up to catch up with your opponents and can also extend your combo.

Shortcut

We do not recommend to access this shortcut on the 1st lap. Going outside the track will slow you down. Access this shortcut only on the 2nd lap if you have a mushroom to speed up and take the lead.

Jump Boosts

Since this is a T course, performing a long combo is easy. There are enough ramps, road humps, and platforms to do jump boosts. Make sure to go over to these ramps to have an unbreakable combo and increase your score.

Chocolate Lake

Driving into the chocolate lake will make you slow. Go over the gliding area for an easier way to pass through the chocolate lake and create a combo streak. If you missed the gliding area, go through dash panels to give you a boost and help you catch up with your opponents.
