How to Level Up Gliders | Mario Kart Tour

Glider Upgrades
This guide will show you how to level up your Gliders in the game Mario Kart Tour. Read on to learn about the types of upgrades and benefits of upgrading!

How to Upgrade Gliders

1. Tap the menu button

First select the menu button from the bottom of the screen.

2. Go to the Glider page

View your gliders by clicking on the icon shown above.

3. Select the Glider you want to upgrade

After deciding which glider you would like to upgrade, tap it to view upgrades.

4. Select what upgrade you want for your Glider

Upgrade base points by clicking left, and skill level by clicking right.

5. Base Point Upgrade

This upgrade will allow you to start each race with higher base points when using this glider.
How to Increase your Base Points

5.1 Use a Point Boost Ticket

Using one of these tickets will allow you to easily raise base points.

6. Skill Level Upgrade

This upgrade will give your glider boosted skills.

Advantages of Upgrading Gliders

  • Having an upgraded glider gives you more base points toward your score in every race where it is used.
  • Gliders with higher skill levels have longer combo times.
  • You will gain a larger point boost with a higher level glider.
  • Upgrading the base point will give your glider more base points when you start the race.

Level Boost
1 +0% to combo time.
2 +5% to combo time.
x1 bonus-point boost.
3 +5% to combo time.
x2 bonus-point boost.
4 +10% to combo time.
x3 bonus-point boost.
5 +10% to combo time.
x4 bonus-point boost.
6 +15% to combo time.
x5 bonus-point boost.

Tour Gifts

You can get Glider upgrade tickets as rewards in certain tour gifts. Be sure to collect Grand Stars in order to get all the rewards.
