A jump boost is a skill in Mario Kart Tour wherein the player receives a boost after going on a ramp. It is a good way to get a higher score and getting ahead of other racers if there are tons of ramps in the course.
Jump Boost is activated when you drive your kart over a ramp. Aside from ramps, you can also go through air and water currents, landing on balloons, hitting goombas, and many other things. You can also do Jump Boosts while Gliding.
When you see a ramp on the course always try to drift in to it, as it will give you a mini boost and jump boost. Best combo to do to get ahead in the race!
Doing Jump Boosts gives you more points toward your score. Be sure to always go over ramps if given the opportunity.
Some obstacles, like landing on top of Goombas, can also let you perform Jump Boosts. You can get on top of them if you use a ramp or if you are gliding.
