This guide will explain how to use manual drift in Mario Kart Tour. Here, you can learn how to perform one and improve your drifting skill.
List of Contents
Drift is a skill in Mario Kart Tour where your kart slides in a sideway fashion to be used on turns and curves. Drifting in Mario Kart Tour will give you a mini-turbo, which will make you accelerate and move faster. It will as well as contribute to your point total.
Drifting until you see blue sparks will give you a normal mini-turbo, while orange sparks give you a super mini-turbo, and purple sparks give you an ultra mini-turbo.
How to Use Mini-Turbos
Look at the map and if you see a curve incoming, drift towards the direction of the curve early. This will give you a much smoother turn and give you a much better mini boost.
If you are anticipating a continuous turn, you can control your direction when drifting by simply swiping to the direction you want to go and still not letting go of the touch. This is good to use when you are on a long turn and want to maximize the power of the boost you get.
