How to Collect Coins

Collect in Races

  1. Item Box
  2. Collect coin 1.png Coins are an item that can be obtained from an item box. They will be used automatically.
  3. Picking up coins in the course.
  4. collect coin 2.png Coints are scattered around each course, so pick them up when they are in your path.
  5. Coins from Drivers who spun out
  6. collect coin 3.png Drivers will drop coins when hit with items like Bananas, Green Shells, etc. Attack an opponent and swipe their fallen coins!

Play Coin Rush

Coin rush is an event where you race solo and collect as many coins as you can. Rubies or a Coin Rush Ticket is needed to enter the event.

Tour Gifts

Tour Gifts
Coins can be earned through tour gifts, so progress through the tour to obtain a lot!
Coins can be earned in the Tour Gifts. However, you are required to collect certain amount of Grand Stars to get them. You can earn Grand Stars by progressing through the Cups in a tour or completing challenges.

Today's Challenge

You have a chance to obtain large amount of coins when you fire off a pipe in the Today's Challenge. You can do it after you complete its challenge for the day.
