To unlock Friends, you need to unlock the league and hold a ranking. The league will be unlocked after completing the Yoshi Cup.
After unlocking the Friends tab you can easily add friends by going to Menu > Friends > Add Friend.
There are different methods in adding friends. You can add them through social media eg. (Facebook, Twitter) by linking your account to the game, or you can just add them by asking for your friend's code. Go ahead and invite your friends now!
You can compete against your friends to see who has higher points. The more friends that you gain, the more companions to compete with you will have.
You can battle online Multiplayer page. Just tap on the Random Match button, wait for opponents and show them what you got!
Go to multiplayer and create a lobby. You and your friends should do the same to enter the same lobby. But to access multiplayer, you need to subscribe to Gold Pass.
An additional benefit is you can get gold when you and your friends get the specified amount of score in the rank races.

You can save a comment for later by giving it a Like.
