Raising Your Score at Daisy Hills

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start. This will help you take an early lead in the race. If done correctly, it will give you the highest bonus score possible.

Drifting

Do a Mini-Turbo Boost to increase your speed and take advantage of your opponents. This will also add points to your combo and score.

Road Humps

This course has a few road humps. Make sure to go over these road humps to perform jump boost and maximize your score.

Shortcut 1

Access this ramp if you have a mushroom to help you boost and take advantage of your opponents.

Obstacles

Goats are the only obstacle in this course. Avoid these goats as you will slow down when you bump into them. But you can take them down and gain points by hitting them with an item.

Dash Panels

Go on the side of the road with dash panels. These dash panels will give you a short boost and at the same time add points to your combo and score.

Extend Glide Time

You can extend your glide time by landing over the top of the hot air balloon. Glide on the right side to land on the roof and access the dash panels for more combos and points.

Shortcut 2

You can access this shortcut by turning left before the gliding area. Use a mushroom to give you a boost and access this shortcut smoothly.

Using an Item

Use your items to take advantage and slow down your opponents. Hitting an opponent with an item also gives you extra points. Do not forget to save at least 1 item (except mushroom) to block your opponent's attack.
