Raising Your Score at Bowser's Castle 1R

Position Points and Gimmicks are the Most Important

In order to obtain the most points possible, you should aim for a high position and use items to knock your opponents out of the lead.

Tips for Raising Your Score

Rocket Start

Always start with a Rocket Start If done correctly, you can get the highest bonus score possible. It will also help you take an early lead in the race.

Gliding Area

Use the gliding area on the right rather than the dash panel. Gliding will give you more combo points and take advantage of your opponents.

Dash Panel

Do not forget to land on dash panels to extend your glide time. It will also help you with your combo and at the same time increase your score.

Drifting

Perform a Mini-Turbo Boost as long as there are curved areas. It will give you the needed boost and can also extend your combo.

Thwomps

This is the reverse course of the Bowser's Castle so there are still Thwomps in some areas. Avoid bumping into them as they will slow you down.
