Golden Rounds uses Standard rounds coated with Chiral Crystals on each attack. This type of ammo is only available on High Grade Weapons.
Golden Rubber Rounds uses Chiral Crystals on each attack, however they are not lethal to humans and can be less effective against BTs. These rounds are only available on High Grade Weapons.
Golden Rubber Shells are only available to High Grade Weapons, each attack uses Rubber Shells coated with Chiral Crystals making stronger when used against BTs.
Golden Shells are Standard Shells coated with Chiral Crystals making it extremely powerful when used against BTs. This type of ammo is only available on High Grade Weapons.
Grenades are only useful when fighting against groups of soldier BTs, they do not work against normal BTs and lethal against MULEs and Terrorists.
Hematic Rounds are standard rounds infused with Sam's blood to make them effective against BT. This ammo will quickly drain your blood on each attack, make sure you are carrying Blood Bags when using this type of ammo.
Hematic Grenades explodes on a big radius and can instantly kill BTs around the area when fired. They can also be used to stun MULEs or Terrorists but it will deal no damage.
Hematic Shells are regular shells infused with Sam's blood making it effective when used against BTs, they are also lethal if used against humans.
Rubber Hematic Rounds are non lethal rubber rounds infused with Sam's blood making it effective against BTs, they are also lethal if used against humans.

Rubber Rounds are used to disable MULEs and Terrorist without killing them, however they do not work against BTs. This type of ammo is useful when trying to disable humans from a long range.
Rubber Shells are used to disable MULEs and Terrorists without killing them, this type of ammo will not work against BTs but they are useful when facing groups of humans.
Shells are used against BT soldiers during the war, they are extremely effective in meele combat but they will not work against normal BTs. This type of ammo is lethal against MULEs and Terrorists.
Slip Grenades the floor slipery and make humans fall for a short amount of time, this is extremly effective when being chased by multiple MULEs or Terrorists.
Standard Rounds are used to fight BT soldiers during the war, they are not as effective as Hematic Rounds but they are reliable when you are low on blood bags. These rounds are lethal and will kill humans if used against them and they will completely miss if used on a normal BT.
Tranquilizer Grenades will only be available later in the game when you unlocked High Grade Weapons. These grenades can be used to instantly disable humans and prevent them from attacking you while you are traveling.
Some types of ammo does not work on BTs or Humans, making it useless during combat. Be sure to bring the correct weapon when facing certain enemies.
