Connecting with BB allows you to see BTs. Taking care of BB is the most important key to protect yourself against BTs.

Upsetting BB will cause BB to cry. When BB cries, the Odradek won't function and you won't be able to detect BTs.

BB Can Get Sick

If BB's stress level reaches a critical level, BB will begin to suffer from Autotoxemia, and Soothing BB will not help anymore. Take BB to a Private Room to make BB function again.

How to Soothe BB

L1 + Down Button

Soothing BB
After looking at BB, press the Square Button to start soothing BB. To soothe BB, shake the dual shock controller until BB is satisfied.

Take BB to a Hot Spring

Death Stranding Hotspring
Taking a dip in a Hot Spring will calm BB and restore his stress level.
