The goal of the deck is simple: get monsters out early and hit hard. Thanks to cards like Dark Resonator saddled with Double Material, you can get both Elemental HERO Neos and Blue-Eyes White Dragon on turn one. Not to mention, we laced Elemental HERO Neos with Speedy Summon, making it a viable turn one play even without Double Material.
Cards like RAM Clouder's Provoke, Trickstars Candina and Lilybell Special Skill and Snipe, respectively, offer enough chip damage to keep you healthy throughout the duel. Try and spread their summons out to avoid having a dead hand.
This deck is perfect for beginners looking for a list to climb rank. The playstyle is relatively easy, but the degree of difficulty to master it is quite high.
Leading with Elemental HERO Neos gives you the opportunity to contest for the Extra Card. As a matter of fact, few monsters can oppose Elemental HERO Neos during the first turn thanks to its high ATK and Superspeed Skill.
Try and use the Speedy Summon skill as early as you can to take advantage of Neos' powerful Master Skill. Speedy Summon allows you to get him out on the field using only one tribute monster. Additionally, the 1000 ATK/DEF debuff is actually advantageous because Neos' Master Skill sends him back to your hand once destroyed.
This opening gives you a powerful Boss Monster back in your hand while having hand advantage over everyone else thanks to the Extra Card you got.
This combo gives your Elemental HERO Neos over 3000 ATK, making it an end game threat:
|1.||Have your Elemental HERO Neos die at least once.|
|2.||Tribute Summon Neos to gain the additional Skills|
|3.||Normal Summon Performapal Silver Claw to activate its ATK Support Skill|
|4.||Activate Wind Spirit's Protection's effect and target Elemental HERO Neos.|
You want Elemental HERO Neos out on turn one. This is due to its Master Skill which sends itself back to your hand once destroyed. Capitalize on this powerful effect by constantly summoning him if you can.
Additionally, your deck is built to keep pumping ATK boosts to Elemental HERO Neos so it gets stronger after each respawn. Performapal Silver Claw, when summoned, gives your boss monster an additional 200 ATK thanks to its ATK Support skill.
The Exodia Stall deck easily exhausts this deck out of resources. Exodia turns each game into a battle of attrition, and quite frankly, our deck tends to run out of steam relatively quick after a couple of bad draws.
