Weapon Management

Weapons are your best friend against Halcyon's worst. At any time, you can have up to 4 weapons in your inventory.

Investing in the Engineering skill allows you to repair your weapons while in the Inventory page. However, you may also flag some weapons as junk to sell, or break them down for parts from the same page.

Weapon Stats - General

Weapon stats differ from ranged and melee weapons, but they're basically the same.

Stat Name Applicable To Definition
Ammo Type Guns This applies specifically to guns which use any of the three types of ammo:
Heavy / Energy / Light
Skill Guns, Melee Pre-requisite skills needed to handle certain weapons. Your character cannot properly use a gun if they don't have the Skill requirements for it
Damage Guns, Melee Refers to how much damage your character's attacks can cause enemies
Reload Time Guns Refers to the time it takes for your character to reload their guns
Critical Guns, Melee It is a sudden, strong attack that knocks off a higher value of HP from enemies. It is usually calculated at a certain percentage or rate
Range Guns, Melee This pertains to how far your character is from your enemies to damage them
Special Effect Specific Weapons Refers to what negative buff your enemies suffer when attacked by a specific weapon

Weapon Effects

Charge

Some weapons can be charged before being fired for a bigger attack. Hold the Attack button to build up energy, then release to attack.

N-Ray

There are weapons in the game that are powered by N-Rays. When enemies receive enough N-Ray damage, they in turn can damage others through the resulting splash damage.

Science Weapons

Science weapons are unique, even in the game. They have strange but powerful effects. The damage and strength of these Science weapons depends on your character's Science skill.
