How to Use Trick Ball

General Tips

Like any Yo-yo weapon, Trick Ball's strength lies in mid-range combat and disrupting ongoing battles. Wait for opponents to battle against each other and attack them when they have low or empty S-Energy.

Fujiyama Rocket.jpg
Wait for a crowd to build up and use your Fujiyama Rocket to obliterate all of your opponents in one shot. Be careful, for you may also get hit by your own Fujiyama Rocket.

Trick Ball Special.jpg
Trick Ball's special will be quite useful in any given situation. Use it if you want to escape from multiple opponents or initiate a battle against a single opponent.

This is a surefire combo that will always get you an IPPON. Remember to hit your Special first to prevent opponents from going through S-Burst Mode and parrying your attacks.

Strengths and Weaknesses of Trick Ball


  • Multiple Opponents - Trick Ball can easily defeat multiple opponents at once using its Gum Ninjutsu - Fujiyama Rocket.
  • Always have the upper hand - When an opponent is getting closer, you can always hit them first as long as you have perfect timing on your attacks.


  • Wide Attack has a small range - Trick Ball's wide attack has only a small range and will only be useful against one opponent.
