So what about a new review for the full game? Really want to hear what people say about the "questionable" ending.

Normal really is the perfect challenge. On chapter 14 and have only died a few times. You just have to take your time and be smart on weaknesses and you'll do fine. The few times I have died is mostly due to me rushing to get the kill. Normal isn't hard at all really.

Interesting to hear that Normal Mode is on the tough side of things, maybe they should call it a hard mode instead and make easy the default?

Game is good but they might want to tone down the normal difficulty. I actually find it fine (honestly speaking, it's still leaning on the easy side for me) And make a hard mode for the game which is much more difficult than the current normal mode.

sucks to hear about classic mode, was hoping it would let even people like me have fun with the ff7 remake. hope they fix this in a future patch!

Yeah, they have to fix the lock-on. Or maybe they're encouraging lock-on for some enemies and to not rely on em against others. Would add another layer to the combat if that's the case.

I just played the demo and so far, I'm liking where this is going. Though, having some difficulties here and there. Guess just have to do several re-battles and learn things.

It would be pretty hard to make the classic mode right with all the new mechanics. They'd have to redo the game just to change the combat.

Yeah the difficulty spike when it came to the Scorpion boss was kinda whack. But i get where they're coming from. It's a way to lengthen the demo even just a bit.

Loved the old and new graphics comparison. Personal review score is a 10. The battle is amazing, the way they incorporated the rpg elements into an action game is genius. To those saying this is a hack n slash game, feel free to stay on easy mode. The game is not a game you just press attack and win and that was pretty obvious when you were about to exit the reactor. Lock in is amazing and easy to use so I dont understand why they said the lock on system is difdicult to use.

This is fine and all, but I wish 'Classic' meant bringing back this game's turn-based goodness. It's just another classic RPG re-made into a hack 'n slasher featuring 'future graphics.' Sad.

So it's either you get bored to death playing Easy mode or get stomped to death playing Normal mode

hmmm the last game i played was final fantasy x-2, i kind of got turned of by 12's system... will i enjoy this?

i've only played newer ff games like 12, 13, and 15. looking forward to this :)

Better graphics does not equal better game.

After playing the demo, I look forward to the full game :) I'm glad likewise someone else think the normal mode is a little difficult. Other than that, I think practice will somehow get us there. Might play the demo again. Will take my revenge on that extreme boss.
