How to Use Eruption

Leaves a Pool of Lava

After smashing your weapon to the ground and then pulling it out, it will leave a pool of lava that stays for about 5 to 6 seconds. Dealing continuous damage to your foe. The pull out will also deal another damage to enemies within range.

Provides High Poise

Activating this skill can be slow but it cannot be cancelled by enemy attacks once the armament hits the ground and releases the lava. But you can still take damage during mid-use of this skill so keep that in mind.

Use when surrounded

You can take advantage of the lava's area of effect and the skill's high poise especially when ecountering a number of enemies all at once.

Perform the skill successively

Perform another Eruption the moment enemies are taking damage from the lava, this will leave them busy enough stay out of its AoE or just continue burning. This gives you a chance to do another set of Eruption.

Available as an Ash of War

You can buy this skill from Recusant Bernahl, after he moves to the Volcano Manor.

Grants the Fire affinity

This skill allows the Fire affinity to be imbued to your armament, adding fire damage to your attacks. Good for taking out enemies weak to fire such as slimes, wolves, and rats.
