This skill will provide a decent area of effect as long as you imbue it to an armament with a decent reach such as a katana or a greatsword. Having it on a polearm would be great for range too.
Doing a full round of use with skill could deal up to 6 hits to an enemy. This could easily trigger a status effect on enemies provided that your armament of choice has a passive effect.
Double Slash's animation is the same no matter what weapon you use it with. This means that it is not great for light weapons since the skill's specialty is doing multiple hits but will be perfect on harder hitting weapons like greatswords, especially ones with passive effects like the Flamberge.
Since this skill can do multiple hits on full combo like the Sword Dance skill, adding posion buildup or cold buildup on its a passive effects could prove beneficial. You can do this with the help of whetblades when granting your weapon with this Ash of War.
This skill can be acquired after killing the scarab at the Sellia, Town of Sorcery in Caelid. This scarab will teleport as soon as it notices your presence, so do a long-range attack the moment you spot it.
This Ash of War can be imbued to any straight swords, katanas, greatswords, and polearms capable of slashing.
The Keen affinity will improve weapon scaling with the Dexterity attribute and will lower the rest of the other attribute's scaling.
