How to Use Shield Bash

Can Interrupt Attacks

Using shield bash when an attack is about to connect can interrupt and stagger enemies leaving them open for a bit. When this happens follow up with another shield bash or press the strong attack button when shield is in two-hand mode. This will have you slam the base of your shield to your foe. You can also just do a regular attack during this opening.

Time your use well

Wait for the enemy to perform the attack before activating the skill to take advantage of the opening it creates when an attack is interrupted. This will let you get out of the battle unscathed especially when using with skill with a greatshield which absorbs most physical attacks.

Available as an Ash of War

This Ash of War can also be applied to all kinds of shields. But unlike other Ashes of War the Shield Bash does not offer any affinity except for the whetblades you have.
