FP Cost: 31
・Very High HP pool early in the game
・Shoots projectile that inflicts poison

The first summon you will get throughout the game. Spirit Jelly Fish Ashes (also known as Aurelia) is a summon with a high HP pool. Aurelia attacks by shooting out projectiles that inflict poison.

The damage may not seem high at first glance, but bosses vulnerable to poison will definitely maximize Aurelia's potential. This is recommended if you want to distract the boss long enough for you to damage it while Aurelia tanks all the damage.

FP Cost: 100
・Has high HP pool
・Multi-hit attacks that staggers most enemies

Banished Knight Oleg is a summon that is better considered another Phantom NPC instead of a Spirit Ash summon. However, it costs a ton of FP and must be obtained in a high-difficulty dungeon called Fringefolk Hero's Grave.

Oleg with his high HP pool can tank a lot of damage making him an effective distraction against bosses. His attacks can also stagger most enemies, allowing a window of opportunity to attack. It is a great summon to try and get early on in the game if you can take down the boss.

The Ulcerated Tree Spirit is an optional boss found in Fringefolk Heroe's Grave which you can by using 2 Stonesword Keys on the Imp Statue right beside the Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace, which is the tutorial dungeon.

Black Knife Tiche Ashes

Spirit Description
Black Knife Tiche v2Black Knife Tiche
FP Cost: 132
・Blade of Death skill deals percentage damage against bosses
・Highly mobile and boast very fast dodges
・Normal attacks can stunlock humanoid enemies

With the Mimic Tear nerf, Black Knife Tiche is now the best spirit ash to use in the late game. While it doesn't offer the same versatility as the Mimic Tear, it's Blade of Death skill removes 10% of an enemy's max HP, allowing you to easily defeat many endgame bosses due to their high health.

While it's not as durable as the Mimic Ashes, Tiche is very mobile and lithe and can easily dodge slow the long winding attacks of the some of the later bosses. She's also surprisingly durable when fully upgraded, and is capable of taking hits from the likes of Godfrey and even Radagon.

Mimic Tear Ashes

Spirit Description
Mimic Tear Ashes
HP Cost: 660
・Uses HP instead of FP
・Very flexible as it changes based on what you have equipped
.・Can use items and spells you have equipped

Even with the nerf in Patch 1.03, the Mimic Tear ashes is a great choice for many of the game's late-game bosses due to its sheer versatility and customizability - on top of using HP instead of FP to cast.

While it's damaged was lowered, it still has among the highest HP and Defenses of all Spirit Ashes and is great at tanking hits from powerful foes. The Mimic Tear will also still use your character's skills and spells, but now requires careful planning of its loadout to prevent it from cycling its weapons and spells too much.
