How to Play Evil Eye

Main Combo

Medusa Watcher of the Evil Eye.png

1. Normal Summon your Medusa, Watcher of the Evil Eye.
2. If possible, activate its effect in order to recycle an "Evil Eye" card from your Graveyard.
3. Equip your Evil Eye of Serene to your Medusa.
4. Use Medusa's effect to control the field and your opponent's Graveyard.

Counters for Evil Eye

Weaknesses

  • Not consistent enough.
  • A bit too reliant on their boss monster.
  • Due to the cards in the deck, there are a lot of awkward hands.

Remove Evil Eye Cards

Like the name of the deck suggests, they tend to rely heavily on Evil Eye cards. If you can stop these cards, it will hinder them cycling and drawing through their deck thus delaying their game plan.

Hit Early and Hard

This deck requires time to set up, get their Life Points as low as possible. Put as much pressure as you can out on the field with a swarm of monsters and a strong backrow to support.
