The Deck is made to be as annoying as possible while still maintaining control over the field through the effects of your Ninjas. Cards like Sphere Kuriboh and Forbidden Lance adds to the annoyance with lowering the offensive potency of your opponent's Deck, while Cosmic Cyclone can be a good backrow clear to deny your opponent a chance to use Traps or set Quick-Play Spells.

How to Play Ninjas

Main Combo

1. Make sure your opponent controls a Level 4 or lower monster and preferably two Spell or Trap cards.
2. Normal Summon Ninja Grandmaster Hanzo to draw Ninjutsu Art of Super-Transformation.
3. Activate Ninjutsu Art of Super-Transformation's effect and target Ninja Grandmaster Hanzo and the monster your opponent controls.
4. Special Summon Yellow Dragon Ninja. If your opponent controls two or more Spell and Trap cards, destroy them using your Dragon's effect.

Counters for Ninjas

Weaknesses

  • Support is limited.
  • Not that strong in the current meta.
  • Their combo can easily be broken up.

Use Spell and Trap Cards

Using Spell and Trap cards makes it so that you can counter any monster they play. Ninjas in general are fragile making their combo easy to disrupt.

Flood the Field

If you bring out strong monsters, Ninjas have a hard time dealing with them all at the same time. Make sure you have two or more monsters on the field at all times.
