How to Play Lightsworn

Main Combo

Chaos Dragon Levianeer.png

1. Note: This deck does not have a "main combo", instead it has a certain playstyle you want to stick to.
Aim to always play your Lightsworn cards.
2. If possible, use Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn before any other Lightsworn monster.
3. Use the other Lightsworn monsters like Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner and their strong effects to boost your Graveyard's power.
4. If you have enough Light and Dark monsters, Special Summon your Chaos Dragon Levianeer immediately.

Counters for Lightsworn

Weaknesses

  • High chance of milling yourself.
  • Does not have good Spell or Trap removal.
  • Vulnerable to decks that have Graveyard Destruction.

Remove their Graveyard from Play

Lightsworn aims to mill itself in order to bring out its boss monster. If you have cards that can interact with their Graveyard, use it as soon as possible.

Set Spell and Trap Cards

This deck does not have much interaction with Spell and Trap Cards making it hard to deal with them. Flood the board early with both in order to maintain control over the field.
